After a few teasers on Instagram and TikTok, carpetgarden’s da da song premiered on YouTube, officially releasing at 12:05amET on October 20, 2022. The music video, like most of David’s work, is surreal and strange in many ways. The music itself dissolves into garbled noises and static in the end as well which adds to that. The Apple Music track credits both David Jordan/David Sweet and Gianluca Buccellati.
