"Crash" is the opening track from Charli XCX's fifth studio album of the same name. The highly charged and 80's-inspired song was brought to life after the album's title was changed from Sorry If I Hurt You to Crash, as revealed by Charli to Apple Music, and is a fitting start to what the English singer calls an "emotionally chaotic" record. While it seems that "Crash" frames her tendencies to self-destruct after a breakup, fans also speculate that the track hints at XCX's departure from Atlantic Records
