"Control Freak" serves as the first track on FLO's second EP titled "3 of Us." The song is an assertive anthem about rejecting a controlling and possessive partner. From the beginning, the narrator realizes her partner's overstepping boundaries, attempting to control her life. Despite only recently meeting each other, the partner became too comfortable with controlling every aspect of the woman's life. While she may allow her partner to hold her, she has no intention of being with somebody so controlling.
