“Contemptress” features Maria Brink, the vocalist of In This Moment. This song is about two lovers repeatedly returning to eachother even though they both know that they are toxic to and for each other. The title of the song is a portmanteau made of the words “contempt” and “temptress”, which really emphasizes the toxicity of the relationship.
