Comforting Sounds is a song by the Danish band Mew. It was released as a single in 2003 to promote their album Frengers, becoming the first of three singles to reach the top 75 of the UK Singles Chart. The beautiful epic peaked at No. 48 in the UK during May 2003. It's one of the bands most beloved songs, and they use it as their last song in liveshows.
