“Comedy” is the second track on Bo Burnham’s "Inside". The song discusses Bo’s attempt to come out of retirement and try to heal the world, which at the time was at the beginning of COVID-19, with another comedy special. As with “Sad” from his 2013 special what., it establishes a (flippant) justification for engaging in comedy when the world around Bo is so upsetting. It also touches on white privilege, similarly to How The Word Works
