“Come Down Soon” is the second track from Lizzy McAlpine’s third studio album Older, released on April 5, 2024, and describes her romantic experiences with a man while being certain it won’t last. The song was one of the first tracks written for the album, as far back as early 2021, and McAlpine performed many different iterations at live shows in the lead-up to the release of Older. "This was one of the first songs that I wrote for the album in 2021.
