Colder is a song written about watching people fall in love for the first time and being in awe of how fearlessly they fall. It talks about the aftermath of heartbreak and how you become a lot more cautious when it comes to falling for someone because you know the pain it can cause. I don’t think it’s necessarily a bad thing to be colder but when you find the right person it’s important to be able to let them in. Colder was the last song I wrote for the album.
