Cold Winter Comin' is following that theme of impending change - knowing that not of all of us are going to survive. That the most vulnerable people still know the score, but it would hurt for any of us to show a little more kindness and at least attempt to tip the scales a little. Musically, this one started with a drum loop, then the band made a guitar demo WITHOUT the drums to see what Dano wanted to do with it. Dano came up with doing his "greasy" drum intro that took them through the the rest of the songs with all his variations.
