Inspired by, and borrowing some of its lyrics from an older folk song ("Cocaine Blues" by Rev. Gary Davis), FIDLAR’s “Cocaine” is a louder punk mash-up of new and old, similar to Bradley Nowell's oft-used songwriting approach in Sublime. In addition to “Cocaine,” there is a bonus song titled “Cheap Cocaine” tacked on to the end of this track, in which FIDLAR’s frontman, Zac Carper, sings about his time living in his car.
