Melanie's Close To It All originally appeared on her first LP Born To Be. While this version is a re-recorded version Melanie recorded during her "silver anniversary" of recording. Melanie still performs the song with the same passion and vulnerability of the original and it is less produced. While a great version, those that enjoy this song should seek out the original recording that can also be found on several of her greatest hits packages.
