Clockwork is a progressive house track by deadmau5. It was first released on October 8th, 2008, via Black Hole Recordings. It was later released in Italy as part of the "It Sounds Like" compilation album, via Cinnamon Flava. The track was first aired on July 19th, 2008, as part of the BBC Radio 1 Essential playlist. It followed Brazil (Second Edit) on the playlist. The chord progression was first used by Henry Purcell for the funeral of Queen Mary II of England.
