“christi interlude” is an interlude dedicated and narrated by Christi Meshell, who owns House of Matriarch, the perfumery behind twigs' various perfume releases, most notably her "MAGDALENE" perfume. They’ve been in collaboration with each other as early as 2014, and Meshell had this to say about twigs in 2016: "'Real beauty knocks you a little bit off-kilter, and FKA twigs knocks you a little bit off-kilter. She brings a feminine voice to beauty in a new and raw way, I am really happy to be working with her.
