Lyrics: Margaret Walker Music: Mark Brendan Walker (AKA Brendan Bane) The original poem "Childhood Memories" was written by Brendan's (The artist on the track) Grandmother (Margaret Walker.) Margaret died of MS just months before Brendan was born. Growing up Brendan spent many summers at "Old Firesides," the cabin Margaret wrote about in her poem with the same people she had been so fondly describing. As an honour to his Grandmother Brendan put the poem to music and included it on the CaveWalker album "Feather that Burns."
