The lead single of the album, intended to stylistically replicate Mercury Rev's 1995 album, "See You On The Other Side." The chords in the song were also inspired by "Make Your Stash" by Australian rock band Daddy Cool. The trumpet in the track was not synthesised, and was played by Tundra on a £15 trumpet he bought off of Loot Magazine. For Pitchfork in 2002, he said, "If I need a trumpet or a violin sound I'll try and learn the instruments so that I can perform the part I have written for it."
This 2000 album merits attention for its methodical approach to sampling and arrangement. Rather than relying solely on synthesis, Tundra learned instruments to authentically realize his compositional ideas—famously recording trumpet on a budget instrument to capture specific tonal qualities. The lead single channels Mercury Rev's orchestral ambition while drawing harmonic inspiration from Australian rock, creating something genuinely hybrid. What distinguishes the work is its intellectual rigor: each textural choice reflects deliberate craft rather than convenience. In an era of digital music-making, Tundra's insistence on hands-on instrumental performance reveals a deeper philosophy about sonic authenticity and the relationship between intention and execution.
