“Buzz Me In” reflects on continuing to see a romantic interest despite feelings of self-doubt and knowing some aspects of the relationship aren’t very serious or reliable. The title is referencing a door phone which is commonly used at apartments to unlock the front door for someone you know so they can come up. The chorus is vague enough on the subject though to double as a sexual innuendo. Drinking alcohol is another interpretation of the lyrics, since the term “buzzed” is often used to refer to this and wine is mentioned.
