"Buster" is Damien Qui's homage to silent film actor Buster Keaton. The 'stone-face' demeanor that Keaton was famous for, and which was so convincing that audiences feared for the actor's mental health, is now the stuff of film legend. Damien Qui calls the song the expression of a fictional Buster Keaton that was consumed by his character, and who succumbs to the madness in front of a captive audience.
