"Burden is a song I wrote to express my own experience with depression. While it's never been major (as the lyrics say, "I still make it in to work"), it does have a way of tainting every experience I have; it sucks away my motivation, pulls me out of relationships, and convinces me that who I am at my lowest is who I really am. This song exists to remind me that the person I'm describing in the lyrics, while being a part of my story, is not representative of who I know I can be." ~Kyle Dybdal
