"Buffy the Body" is an unreleased track by Playboi Carti that was recorded between June 2, 2018, to January 4, 2019, during the production of his sophomore studio album Whole Lotta Red. It was intended to be on the first version of the project, before he changed the sound of the album. The track was previewed in October 2018, in a leaked Instagram live video on Carti’s private Instagram account @nineninesixteensixteen. It was previewed by Carti's friend Jay before the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2019 showcase with Virgil Abloh.
