"Brother Louie" is the first single of the third album of the German band Modern Talking, Ready for Romance. It is the fourth consecutive to top the German Chart, after "You're My Heart, You're My Soul", "You Can Win If You Want" and "Cheri Cheri Lady". The song is the only single from the album that was a hit in the UK Singles Charts, reaching #4. Modern Talking became a one hit wonder in Canada when "Brother Louie" hit #34 in 1986. The song is dedicated to Luis Rodriguez, co-producer of Modern Talking's albums.
