Dove performed the track on her UK shows on April 13 and 14. The track was written on March 8 2022 and was teased the same day. More TikToks were posted through June 14, when Dove finally announced the release date for June 24 after waiting for a long time. Lyrically, the song is about men who control women’s choices such as abortion, according to the music video.
