“born with horns” was the original title track for MGK’s 2022 album mainstream sellout, which he renamed from Born With Horns on January 31st, 2022. After he announced the new name, he took to Twitter to announce “born with horns” as the album’s first track. Fans found the song’s lyrics before its release on Kells' merch site, where he sold a zine with a behind-the-scenes look at the album creation as well as the lyrics to each song.
