The song was intended to be a single from the singer's debut studio album, Love Is A Drug, but was scrapped along with the album. The song leaked online in 2010 prior to the album cancellation. Sonically, the song is an up-tempo dance-pop song with influences of rnb and high-NRG. It was officially released on streaming along with "Your Lies Are the Truth" in August 2025.
