This song was first called “The List Of Endangered Species.” and was supposed to be on Klaatu’s album “Endangered Species” (their 4th album) “but in the end was not submitted to producer Chris Bond for consideration”. The chorus was re-written and revamped and put onto Magentalane with the new name “Blue Smoke”. The song features John Woloschuk playing keyboards, bass, electric guitar, vibes, and (non-electric) sitar. Terry Draper playing Drums, percussion, and trombone “…like a drunken trombone player…”.
