Soul Intent was an underground Detroit rap group in the early to mid 1990's who were very important to the development of Eminem’s career. “Biterphobia” was the B-side off their first single, “Fuckin' Backstabber”. Em is still developing his skills here, and this song highlights his ability to rap fast, which was somewhat in vogue at the time. In this song, it seems like Em has swallowed a thesaurus. In his book "The Way I Am", Eminem said the song is wack, but not wack for the time period.
