"Big Poppa" is a song by rapper The Notorious B.I.G., released on December 24, 1994, as the second single from his debut studio album, Ready to Die (1994). It was released as a double A-side with album track "Warning" hence the credit to both songs. Produced by Chucky Thompson and Nashiem Myrick, it samples the song "Between the Sheets" (1983) by The Isley Brothers, it is a rap song with elements of R&B and West Coast hip-hop. The title is based on one of The Notorious B.
