The middle section of the album is kind of this ‘honesty’ section, and this is the last of the ‘honesty’ section - songs 4 through 7 - pure honesty. Better Times is just like that. For me, musically even, it’s about honesty. Everything is right on the beat. The transitions are clear. Nothing is hidden. This song is like getting slapped in the face, again, for the fourth time in a row.
