"Bends" is the seventh track on Carly Rae Jepsen's fifth studio album The Loneliest Time. It was released in October 21, 2022 through 604, School Boy and Interscope Records. The airy, featherweight “Bends” sketches the emotional aftermath following the death of Jepsen’s family member. Pulling imagery from her unreleased track “Sun On You,” a Kiss-era demo, Jepsen meditates on the “sad, communal feeling” one feels after facing loss.
