'I hate the name for this song... Honestly I don't know why it was called that.... I think Joel (my old guitarist) chose it. I think I was getting a bit sick of naming songs and also getting very lazy at the time and Joel just said 'let's call it, Ballerina' and i probably just groaned in approval and, well there you go, it just stuck. I quite like the sentiment behind the song, it was all very optimistic lyrically which is a bit unusual for a Jacob's Stories song.
