“Back on Road” is a celebratory anthem about getting back on the path of success—fitting, considering Gucci Mane was in prison a mere 10 days before the release of this song. The collaboration between Drake and Gucci Mane is interesting, considering Gucci’s past history of dissing Drake. However, the most recent time Gucci dissed Drake was in the fall of 2013. Gucci later apologized on Twitter. Drake has previously showd Gucci love, notably on “Digital Dash”:
