"Baby" is a song by singer Brandy, taken from her self-titled debut album, (1994). It was penned by Keith Crouch, Kipper Jones, and Rahsaan Patterson and produced by the former. Released as the album's second single on December 24, 1994, it later debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at #60 on the week of February 4, 1995, and skyrocketed into the top 10 in the top 5 at #5 the following week. It remained stationary at the #5 spot for 4 weeks consecutively before peaking at #4 for 2 weeks in March 1995
