The title is a German expression meaning "on the road." Lyrically, it is about moving on and abandoning an unrequited love situation. It also originates from a German TV program Nick watched as a child in Munich. Musically, the aim was to capture the coldness and melancholy inherent in such a situation while presenting it in a dance setting as well.
