This song uses a fur coat as a metaphor for beauty and vanity. Fur coats are beautiful and soft on the outside, but when you come “around the fur” you find the dead and ugly skin. Chino is comparing people who are vain to a fur coat, saying they can be beautiful on the outside, but dead and ugly on the inside.
