This is the third track on Love Goes, influenced, according to Sam, by Swedish singer Robyn. A few months after a relationship break-up while on “The Thrill of it All” tour, Sam learned that their former lover had met someone else. On this track, they sing of the emotions they felt — a mix of generosity and sadness and bitterness; of sincerity, sarcasm and resentment. The track has a gentle, mid-tempo but strong beat and jazz influences.
