The opening track of their second album The Blurred Crusade, "Almost With You" is among the band's early period's best (and most beloved by fans) songs. So memorable was Peter Koppes' acoustic guitar solo, that a quarter-century later, it was transcribed by an Australian guitar magazine. Songwriter and vocalist Steve Kilbey called it "THE definitive Church song" on the 1987 compilation Hindsight.
