“Aliens Exist” is a song about lead singer Tom Delonge’s belief in aliens. Tom, who has a strong fascination and belief in extraterrestrial life and even claims to have made contact, wrote the song. Following his departure from the band in 2015, DeLonge decided to devote time to the exploration of “Unidentified Aerial Phenomen.” In a 2016 interview with Mic.com, DeLonge dismissively commented on the song: Mic: How many people have made a joke about your ‘Aliens Exist’ song in relation to this project [Sekret Machines]?
