"Alice Practice" was claimed to have been a soundcheck secretly recorded by Ethan Kath; although Alice Glass has since denied this, stating Kath made it up to minimise her input in the band. It was released as a single on MySpace on September 2005, was the title track of their debut EP and appeared as the second track and their debut eponymous studio album. "Alice Practice" was performed on the British television series Skins.
