Africa featured on the album Where the sand meets the Water, which was recorded at NBC studio 7. The song was written and produced by local producer and long-time friend of the great Jackson, Konrad Schwieger. Lutz van Dewitz was the audio engineer. Cathy Hanson and Ras Lando features on the backing vocals. Cathy also plays the flute.
