“Act My Age“ is the twelfth track from Pale Waves' third studio album, Unwanted. Heather Baron-Gracie said the following about the track in an interview with Apple Music: “It is about growing older. It’s a battle between being like, ‘Shit, I need to grow up,’ but then also, ‘Oh, shit, I miss when I was a child and I didn’t have to worry about anything.’ It’s that realisation that everyone gets older and everyone needs to get their shit together.
