A Thousand Curses on Love (Mile Marbhphaisg Air A'Ghaol) is a Scots Gaelic call and response tweed waulking song from the West Hebrides. Tweed waulking (softening the wet tweed by beating and felting it) is exclusively women's communal work. Very tribal and with a distinct pounding beat. This traditional folksong has also been recorded by Stand Easy, Jennifer Licko (Shelton), McKenzie & Swan (instrumental), and The Browne Sisters.
