From band site: A MASTERS IN REVERSE PYSCHOLOGY is about gearing up for war. The townspeople stop their lamenting and prepare for the onslaught. They start to arm themselves, "shooting at the devil in the moonlight". They begin to wait, and much of the theme of the rest of the album focuses around waiting to die. They lay in their basements in wait, drinking themselves to death in fear of the devil. The imagery is about them hiding out, hungry and tired in the wreckage of their homes waiting for the devil- and when he comes
