This was a real Peppermint Radio favourite and I can remember dancing around the dining room to this. But although the original track is very motivating, hidden behind typical 80’s pop production is the real sentiment of the song, which easily go unnoticed. When I was learning the song and going over the lyrics I realised how sad and heartbreaking it was. I could relate to everything in the song, it seemed to mirror everything I had been trying to say throughout all my songs, only much more simply and straightforward than I could.
