This was a live recording done at a party by the band, and was labeled as performing at Puff N Slugs due to a saying that the band members used to say to each other before starting a song for any band member drinking or smoking ("Get in your puffs and slugs."). The band was doing the Americana thing in Detroit way before there was anyone in the town playing roots-rock stuff. While Detroit didn't take much notice, the band had great followings in Buffalo, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh.
