It sounds like a kiss-off to a jealous, neglectful, emotionally abusive lover— Eminem has recorded plenty of those— but the ending reveals that it’s a kiss-off to a jealous, neglectful, emotionally abusive little art form called hip-hop. But it sounds like Eminem is just complaining: surely he can’t be serious about “divorcing” hip-hop once and for all.
