It debuted on his TikTok on October 10, 2020 merely as a rough idea, then was later shared again as a fully-fledged song on April 14, 2021. "14 is finally out wow. After 2 years of writing 30 different choruses and versions of this song, it’s finally out in this world. When I wrote this song I was at the lowest point in my life, I did not know who I was and who I wanted to be.
