This track was produced by Derek Lawrence (Deep Purple) and written by Larry Steele, Tony Wilson and Liza Strike. They also recorded a single under the name Derek Lawrence Statement called "I Am The Preacher." Steele, Wilson and Strike also produced the vocals on "10,000 Years Behind My Mind / The Sunkeeper" with musicians Albert Lee, Chas Hodges, Harvey Hinsley and Micky Burt and arranged by Del Newman. Earl Jordan of The Les Humphries Singers and Green Bullfrog also recorded a version of this song which appears on his 1972 album "Jordan."
