I don't intend to go into detail about the state of the world since last year, but I myself have also been spending time far removed from my normal routine. I've had a lot of free time, and there's no doubt that the flow of time and the rhythm of life have changed dramatically. Of course, I've been writing new songs for my solo project, LUCY'S DRIVE, and I had the option of releasing them again. In fact, I've done a few online live shows from home, to show that I'm doing well (lol), and I've even debuted new songs during those shows. Since I was at home, I mainly played acoustic guitar, which was fun in its own way, and the virtual reality live show was a valuable experience (lol). Even so, I felt a sense of discomfort, or something not quite right, and I wasn't really in the mood for it. Through all that, I found myself drawn to a style of music, and thought it would be fun to try making my own, so I decided to release what I'd been creating as an album. This style of music, often referred to as lofi-hiphop, chill beats, or chill out, has been healing people all over the world for the past few years (lol). It streams nonstop 24/7 on YouTube, and there are countless artists from around the world who enjoy it on music subscription sites, supporting people who suffer from stressful modern-day situations like overwhelmed studies and work, or insomnia.
