Bassist Ronnie described the band's approach as "Caddyshack". It's fast, it's loud, it's sarcastic, it reeks of attitude: it's what punk is supposed to be. In older punk influences, Royalty's got a touch of The Damned with all of the on-stage histrionics of Oasis in a drunken brawl with Johnny Rotten. Royalty's sound is difficult to place, beyond that it's definitely new punk of the non-Blink-182 kind. The only real flaw to complain about regarding Royalty: the set was too short."
