Artist
From Their Label Page @ www.mountainfighting.com We have been avid fans of Michael Cameron's work for some time now. When Cameron moved to L.A. and formed Waterlaso and recruited the likes of Padra Moinian, Nick Cullen and Keith Krey, little did we know we would be taking a ride into something dark, other-worldly and sublime. At Mountain Fighting our ethos is to find artist's whose sound is hard to pinpoint. Waterlaso is no let down in this department. With an emphasis on melody and craft - Waterlaso's music is instantly emotional, catchy, danceable yet lyrically substantial. The band's latest offering "Wild" lives up to its name. After spending a year and a half writing "Wild", Waterlaso enlisted the help of producer Kramer (Galaxie 500, Ween, Half Japanese, Butthole Surfers) to refine their sound, to polish and showcase this milestone release. We are very pleased that the album gets to bare the Mountain Fighting mark. Preview the tracks No Such Thing / Something Wild and Time Lapse by Waterlaso.
