Venry Peace, in real life named "Dirk Van Passel", born March 30, 1968 in Aarschot-Belgium, is a self-made occasional hobby-composer of a kind of soundtrackmusic of a very typical style. The music used to be instrumental most of the time. In his latest compositions, he's using his voice as well. Although the fact that Dirk has never been studying any music officially, he used to sing during his childhood. Between the age of 10 - 12, he was singing in a local church-choir. And in the local youth-club, he was known as a flute-player, improvising just any music during campfires for instance. When Dirk was 16 years old, he bought his very first little casio-keyboard and created his first basic tunes with it. About 4 yours later, the casio-keyboard has been replaced by a Roland E-15 keyboard which allowed him to improve these basic tunes bit by bit. Dirk has several basic compositions of that time which never have been released. The real work started after having bought a second-handed Atari-computer with Cubase on it in 1993, together with the Roland Super Quartet module and the Roland keyboard which he already had before. This equipment allowed him to start composing music which he couldn't play before. The audience had to wait up till the year 2008, before the first compositions have been officially released somehow.
